It is in the year 2000, I heard the word YOGA from my brother, that a doctor is suggested him to do a yoga course as a part of his treatment. My brother went to a yoga center in my district and successfully completed the course. After that he was not much interested in the practicing. My mother also suggested me to go and participate in a yoga course like my brother did and it would be very good experience to me. But I didn't give much importance to the words of my mother.
But ..
After a few days, I happened to see the book supplied from the yoga center to my brother. I became very excited by reading about yoga, and the spiritual way of life style if offers. Then I realized that this is the thing I waited for long days.
Yoga is not an exercise for our body. It helps me strengthen our body as well as our mind. And It guides our own soul to connect with the supreme soul, that we called the almighty - God.
Yogic exercises are the basic step to prepare our body to travel through the spiritual way of enlightenment. It brings harmony in your daily life. Reduces stress and strains occurs in our life.
After joining the course
I joined in a yoga class and my Guru trained me the various techniques of yoga, and also gave tips to live a spiritual life accompanied with our beautiful nature.
Later I practiced the Meditation- the most attractive part of yoga- through which we can find out the answers for the complicated questions that we asked ourselves often in our life and can attain the most powerful element of spirituality- the self realization.
The journey continues...
I completed my basic yoga course, and practiced it daily in my home. But also I started to read books about yoga, watched videos, and listened to the speeches of different Gurus.
I will explain the journey of my spiritual life in the future posts..
